Free food for all is an important activity of Satyanarayanjee Temple started by the Founder, Raja Raibahadur Shewbuxjee, himself. The food distributed here, quenches the body by providing necessary nutrients in form of vegetarian meals. It further satisfies the soul because the food is prepared by temple devotees and offered to the Supreme Lords before it is distributed to nourish the body and soul.
Everyday Prasad is distributed to more than hundreds of Devotees. During the Festivals and Sawari, the sanctified food is distributed to around 10,000 people.
